Without noticing it, we can tend to spend much of our life in self-judgment, “shoulds,”and worries about whether we are doing enough, whether we’re performing well enough—whether we areenough. Many of us manifest a wonderful quality of caring for those around us… and in the process, we may not show care for ourselves in the same way.
In this course, we will re-awaken our sense of esteem and appreciation for ourselves and begin to place value on incorporating elements of rest, nourishment, well-being, wonder, and play into our daily lives.
In this course:
We’ll learn the about the elements of self-compassion: mindfulness, kindness to self, and common humanity.
We’ll practice noticing our needs and finding ways to meet them.
We’ll discover and share ways of nourishing and caring for ourselves— both big and small.
We’ll notice and work with our resistance to self-compassion and self-care.
